Violence executed against children and by children represents socially pathological phenomena of a multidisciplinary nature with serious impacts on society. Both governmental and non-governmental institutions of a wide spectrum are involved in their detection, solution and prevention.
A fundamental starting point for working with these target groups is the approach of individual institutions to the problem, which allows mutual use of tools, procedures and methodologies. Czech and foreign practitioners in the fields of criminology, social work, sociology, psychology or criminal law will present their practices in working with these groups in order to create a comprehensive, up-to-date view of the topic.
