Decision on non-prosekution of a suspect - (un)justified intervention in the standard criminal procedure

Abstract

The decision on non-prosecution of a suspect represents an alternative way of terminating the criminal proceeding in a narrowly specified circle of criminal matters. The author points out the conditions for applying this procedural institute and considers its benefits in relation to the consequences related to another non-systematic intervention in the Czech penal procedure code.
