Abstract
The workshop resulted in long-term cooperation between Charles University Faculty of Law and University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu in the project of methods of legal interpretation in civil law legal systems. In the first part presenters reflected on Savigny's canon of interpretation and in the second part, new methods of legal reasoning were discussed.
