The purpose of this conference is to investigate how the phenomenological tradition dealt with the problem of animality, and how Derrida was the first philosopher to raise harsh criticism of the model of argument of phenomenology. Based on Derrida's criticism of phenomenology, we propose a phenomenological systematization for a new animal ethics.

This argument is based on the revision proposed by Eugen Fink to the husserlian phenomenology.
