Abstract
The book written at the end of "Charter 77" was first disseminated as an abundant typed samizdat and reprinted in exile publishers in Cologne (Index) and London (Conversations). It was and still is stubbornly trying to reach the meaning of the '68s, which is still mythologized, whether positively or negatively.
The author broadly comments on his original text in this first book edition on Czech soil. In an extensive footnote to the original unchanged text, he adds information to the raw report from the time of dissent, attempts to interpret it, and occasionally reflects on what was and what has happened in reality and in our heads ever since.
