Abstract
Lecture discusses the situation of the Czech Left parties (ČSSD, KSČM) during approximately the last 5 years. It diagnoses the main causes of the weakening of the Left parties in European space in general and after that it specifies the factors, which influences the support of Czech Left parties.
In the end there are some proposals, how Left politics could became be more relevant for the Czech voters.
