Abstract
This monography represents a critical literary introduction to Biblical texts known as the Minor Prophets. It is based primarily on the original Hebrew texts of the said books.
The monography is structured in a way that more attention is paid to the text itself rather than to the prophet. The author analyzes each prophetical book's title, the book's structure, topic, literary characteristics, specific emphases, period of origination and mutual interdependencies and links among the prophetical books.
The monography also includes an interpretation (exegesis) of selected passages, the theological message of each of the books and their reflections in the New Testament.
