Abstract
The first year of Prague Philosophy Summer School is devoted to the notion of subjectivity in the European Philosophical Tradition in the 19th and 20th century. The summer school is designed to give the students an intensive "crash course" in a way of thinking which had shaped and preconfigured our contemporary views of the "self", "individual" or even "existence".
A narrower philosophical scope is complemented with a literature point of view.
