This article focuses on the impact of hearing impairment in the context of Quality of Life in the adult population in the Czech Republic. This is a part of the research project called Quality of Life of people with hearing impairment.
The research was implementing by a combination of a quantitative (80 respondents) and a qualitative form (12 participants). A quantitative part of the research was conducted primarily through of the author's questionnaires and WHOQOL-BREF & Disabilities Module (WHOQOL-DIS) from the World Health Organization.
The qualitative survey was conducted in the form of an open written statement by the participants. General, the research findings did not indicate a reduced assessment of the perception of the Quality of life, which is a positive finding.
