Abstract

Capitalist globalization is undermining the symbolical meaning of ethical social structures. In such an environment racist and sexist comments of politicians like Berlusconi, Trump or Bolsonaro are not disqualifying in democratic political struggle.

On the contrary, they function as a form of people's identification with corrupted rulers keeping the administred politics going. Without a commonly respected symbolic frame defining the rules of the political contest the shameless speeches and exposes become symbols of organizing the socially excluded.
