Emergence, development and current reality of pan-nationalism in Western Balkans, using the example of Albanian and Serb nations

Abstract
The main goal of this article is to examine the thoughts of "Greater Serbia" and "Greater Albania", to find their roots and to describe their historical development and their current ideology in the Serbian and Albanian environment. The text focuses on the core of both pan-nationalisms, ideology, their historical context and geographical coverage.
Later it describes the times when the "Greater Serbia" and the "Greater Albania" become reality and how the ideas have developed since the fall of communist regimes. In the end the article uses surveys to characterise popularity of pan-nationalist ideas in Serbian, Kosovan and Albanian society.
