Abstract
The main objective of the map is to present the development of housing construction in the wider period of 2000 to 2017, ie capturing both the main wave of suburban housing construction and current trends in the municipalities of the Central Bohemia Region and in the city districts of Prague. The cartogram shows the intensity of housing construction in the period under review.
The proportional cartodiagram shows completed dwellings according to the period of construction, while the size of the cartodiagram represents the number of completed dwellings in the whole monitored period. For the sake of clarity and clarity of the map, only units with the number of completed apartments of 50 or more are displayed.
The cartodiagram provides additional information on the structure of the housing stock according to the period of construction. The map takes into account the typology of municipalities in the Central Bohemia Region.
