Abstract
The utility model deals with polymer thermoplastic biodegradable system for the manufacturing of temporary liners, which will treat and/or prevent local infections in the field of human and veterinary medicine. The system is based on a blend of thermpoplasticized starch with polycaprolactone and antibiotic.
The antibiotic release rate is controlled by composition and morphology of the system.
