SEMT conferences focus on teaching and learning mathematics for children of 5 to 12 years. It is unique in its focus on the teaching of mathematics to children within the age range.
Thus, SEMT provides an opportunity for participants to share ideas and experiences and to learn from and connect with researchers in elementary school mathematics education from around the world in a supportive, stimulating academic environment.
