Abstract

Citizenship education became an important part of Czech education system, however, its implementation still faces significant challenges. The chapter introduces citizenship education in the context of education system reform in the Czech Republic.

Its main focus is on the role of universities and theatre of the oppressed as potential tool for students formation.
