Thematic sections: Textualising the Experience - Digitalising the Text: Cyprus through Travel Literature (15th-18th c.) - Collecting, Reading, Researching - Travellers and Travel Literature - Cyprus: Representations of Space and People - From Card Catalogues to Digital Technologies The Programme was funded by the Sylvia Ioannou Foundation and conducted by 25 researchers in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Czechia, and The Netherlands, under the scientific supervision of Julia Chatzipanagioti-Sangmeister, Professor of Modern Greek Literature at the University of Cyprus. Α multitude of information on Cyprus's natural space, habitation, history and culture was indexed from 125 editions of travel literature from the 15th-18th centuries, in 11 languages.
