Latent Czechoslovakism as a topic of politicization of 19th century liberal elites

Abstract

The text of the chapter presents Czech-Slovak relations as one of the themes of the program of Czech and Slovak liberal elites in the first half of the 19th century. The overall analysis shows that it was not a major or determining topic.

Czech-Slovak relations already had their political potential at that time. However, due to wider political developments, it could not be used at this time.
