Abstract

It studies the Helena Antonie's portrait from Velké Losiny castle and examines reasons why the girl diseased of hirsutism was a kind an inspiration for artists. It also examines how medical pieces of knowledges inluented this phenomenon on the late of the 16th century to the beginning of the 17th century.
