Abstract
As a part of the prepared revision of frame educational programmes, a characteristics of the current science education focused on chemistry at the level of higher general secondary education has been created in the publication CHEMISTRY - The Foundation Study for FEP. This characteristics is based on the comparison of general and specific demands put on this education and results of the practical realization of the current frame educational programmes for this educational level.
