Abstract
The paper investigates urban mobility practices of people on fixed gear or road racing bikes which are used in the city for everyday trips and commutes. Those individuals demonstrate their attitude to the current state of the city, and generally, to the society.
They are conscious rebels of contemporary cities. Their "right to the city" is negotiated in the streets everyday even though their position is peripheral and outnumbered by cars.
