The paper deals with the Austro-Hungarian Foreign Policy Towards Soviet Russia, 1917-19. Heed is paid to the tactics of Austro-Hungarian Diplomacy, in charge of the Foreign Minister Count Ottokar Czernin, at the Peace Conference in Brest-Litovsk toward the bolshevik Delegation led by Trotsky and to the Ukrainian Delegation.
Heed is paid to the impact of the so called "Bread Peace" with the Ukrainian People's Republic on the Austro-Polish Relations as well.
