Tool comprises a hollow cylinder-shaped element and a hollow stem or a hollow cannula. The cavities of the cylinder and the stem or cannula are connected.
The stem or cannula is further attachable to a container for a solidifiable flowable material, or perforated for application (introduction) of the solidifiable flowable material. Typically, the other end of the tool includes a grip attachment and may be attachable to a rotary drive or adapted for manual handling.
The non-working side of the hollow cylinder can be connected directly to a terminal, or optionally via the step and/or via the grip attachment. The stem may be perforated on the side to allow the application of the flowable solidifiable material to the cavity, or the cavity may extend through the grip attachment.
Another option is to connect the hollow stem with a hollow grip attachment, which is perforated at its periphery for the application of the flowable solidifiable material. A container for the solidifiable flowable material may be formed by the cavities of the stem, the hollow cylinder element and/or the hollow grip attachment.
These cavities may be filled with the flowable solidifiable material prior to the application of the tool to the root canal.
