Conceptualization of human age in contemporary Czech and its reflection in public discourse

Abstract

The author analyses conceptualizations of human age and its selected periods in contemporary public Czech discourse. It discusses changing delimitation of childhood, young age, adulthood and old age and focuses on the factors that influence communication about them.
