Development of pre-literacy in pre-school education

Abstract

The main aim of the paper is to analyse the topic of experiencing and situational behaviour within the context of kindergarten schools. The authors thematise and evaluate the influence of experiencing and situational learning on the developmental specifics of children of kindergarten age, and they evaluate this influence on children's interior experiencing.

The text is divided into the theoretical background, and the presentation of the outcome from developmental project, realized within the action research in kindergarten. The aim of the project was to prepare and realize activities for children aimed on experiencing learning, and on supporting children in understanding of their own verbal expression.

General subject of the research was oriented on didactic situations occurring in kindergarten. The authors use research design based on qualitative methodology realized by data collection from interviews with children, from observation and evaluation of these children and of kindergarten teacher during the realization of project activities.

Due to the presentation of the structure of learning project and evaluation of the reflection and self-reflection of the teacher, the text is methodical.
