Abstract
The study recapitulates Albert Giacometti's attendance at exhibitions in the Czech Republic, and above all deals with the reception of his work in a Czech setting with artists of several generation layers. At the same time, it draws attention to some remarkable theoretical texts that Giacometti's creation in the Czechoslovak setting has spurred.
