The Aesthetic Knowledge and Rational Limits in Wellmer and Menke

Abstract

This text is concerned with the understanding to the aesthetic experience of art as a specific kind of knowledge, simultaneously showing the epistemic limits of rationality, in the thoughts of two German philosophers of critical theory, Albrecht Wellmer and Christoph Menke.
