The Ringhoffers in the Region of Velké Popovice in the Context of the general Phenommenon of Recreational Activities of Bourgeois Elites in the 19th and Early 20th Century

Abstract

The study describes the estates of the Ringhoffer family in the area of Velké Popovice. Ringhoffers' estates are compared to a sample of ten analogical examples of aristocracy that eneterd the world business and of leading bourgeois enterpreneurs.
