Joseph of Sonnenfels and his contribution to the reforms of the Theresian period

Abstract

The chapter first describes the life and position of Joseph von Sonnenfels in the Vienna court of Maria Theresa and Joseph II. Sonnenfels became the founder of the teaching of macroeconomics and economic policy of the state, the time of "camera science" at the University of Vienna.

Furthermore, his legal opinions influenced the criminal law.
