The paper shows specific features of the so-called team translation. Based on three translation projects, it presents the pros and cons of such a method of translation training.The analyzed projects include Czech translations of (1) Mikhail Bulgakov's short stories, (2) Nikolai Gogol's novel Taras Bulba, and (3) essays, critical reviews and poems written by nineteen acknowledged classics of Russian literature from Mikhail V.
