The chapter "The Visualization of Dance and the Corporeality of Perception" explores the area of Pavel Korbička's work focused on the record of a dancer's movement. The artist first recorded the movement in drawing, later by means of photography and finally through materialized lines of light from neon tubes.
To convey the subject, the study applies a phenomenological approach to the corporeality of perception, and at the same time lays emphasis on work with the complete structure of an artwork, i.e. the contextual changeability given by temporary, local and mental-physical determinants shaping both creative potential and the viewer's perception.
