Abstract
The presented publication deals with serious socio-psychological issues related to the commission of offenses and criminal offenses. The book provides a description and analysis of the phenomenon of criminal behavior and the conceptualization of a new applied scientific discipline - the psychology of criminal behavior.
The text of individual chapters reflects selected issues that are related to penitentiary, partly to post-penitentiary care and especially to the possibilities of andragogical work. The authors understand the educational context as one of the pillars of professional work with this target group - deviant and criminal subculture.
Psychological and andragogical actions can be realized both in the preventive level and in the corrective level, ie corrective with the use of integration and resocialization tools. The authors supplemented the text with their own research studies.
