Abstract
Summarising and comparing report on two conferencies consecrated to monastic orders. The conference organised by the town of Kadaň in the collaboration between the Historical Institute of Academy of Sciences of ČR and the Institut für sächsische Geschichte und Volkskunde dealt with the orders of the Franciscain family.
The NAKI-project held the conference in Telč, concerning the rapports between monastic orders and towns. Interesting differencies follow from the comparison among the research on monastic orders in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.
