Abstract

With changing uses of digital technologies, the foreseeable future direction and the ict changes ict impc, there is also a shift in the possibilities of involving different types of didactic tools, or didactic techniques for the educational process. Robotic programmable toys can be used at all stages of education for the development of algorithmic thinking.

The diversity of robotic programmable toys indicates a variety of possibilities of their usability in various subjects, different activity, or code types and its introduction. The paper seeks to outline not only the diversity of the use of robotic programmable toys, but also their implementation into the educational process.

Based on this stake in the educational process, the specific positive and negative features of robotic programmable toys as well as their limits are shown both hardware and didactic.
