The research presented in this article was created as part of an extensive research paper directed at environmental education at the first stage of elementary school education in the Czech Republic (children aged 6-11). The research paper was recently published as a Ph.D. thesis.
The main instrument tool was Grounded Theory, concretely collecting of concepts (building block of theory) among selected respondents. The outcome is the list of everything, what is necessary to realizete high-quality programs or lessons of EE.
The list has been compared with Czech EE didactic materials (Ekopedagogovo osmero, etc.) and it was used to innovation of Cross-curriculum topic Environmental education and for the building tools of evaluation and autoevaluation.
