The study deals with the current topic of children's debts. In the second part, attention is paid to the currently most numerous group of children's debts, which are debts arising from journeys by means of public transport without a valid ticket.
The authors show the typical life cycle of such a debt and above all its gradual increase over time if it is not fulfilled voluntarily. The authors come to the partial conclusion that the focus of the problem lies in the underrepresentation of children in litigious proceedings.
