Abstract
The contribution focuses on the specifics of teaching foreign university students studying natural sciences programmes. Currently, at the Czech universities there are more than 40,000 foreign students, many of whom come from the former Soviet Union countries.
They have special needs in terms of teaching instruction, suitable teaching material and texts adjusted to their language level.
