Abstract
The paper deals with the legal instrument of assignment of a claim, particularly with the interpretation of Sec 1880(1) Civil Code 2012, according to which "By assigning a claim, an assignee shall also acquire the accessories and rights associated with the claim, including the security for the claim." It approaches the question whether the right to compensation (loss of profit) shall be deemed as associated with the assigned claim.
