Abstract

The feelings of people with intellectual disabilities have long been neglected by both the professionals and public. It was considered that persons with intellectual disabilities were unable to mourn, and therefore there was no need to address this issue.

Nowadays, it is an indisputable fact that even people with severe mental disabilities feel sorrow after losing a loved one. How to support the mourning process of these people?
