Abstract

In the analytical psychology of C. G.

Jung, imagination as well as intuition are some of the focal points of his work. C.G.Jung is one of the few personalities whose own imaginations summarized above all in the Red Book (2009) have been the basis for his lifelong theories.

Imagination has always served to expand and deepen consciousness, and Jung has developed a therapeutic method, which he called "active imagination". In the paper, from the perspective of analytical psychology, I try to point out the prospective function of imagination and its role in everyday life, visions and artistic creation.
