Restitution of Property Jurisprudence of the HRC against the Czech Republic

Abstract

Following the restitution legislation after 1989, the Czech Republic faced court disputes of individuals claiming they were discriminated against by the conditions of application for restitution. The Human Rights Committee of the UN dealt with many of these cases and the chapter evaluates them.
