Abstract

Experience sampling method was developed in the early 1970s as an attempt to study experience and behavior outside the laboratory. The method allows researchers to gain repeated measures (for several days or weeks) of the same participants as they go about their daily lives.

The method is able to capture intraindividual variability as well as interindividual variability of the participants. Experience sampling method is still moving forward along with the changes of modern technology it uses.

This paper provides an introdution to experience sampling method and basic information for realization of the research.
