Abstract

Students with social disadvantages, in current school legislation also referred to as "pupils in need of support in education due to different cultural and living conditions", represent a group, which is large, but also quite difficult to define. The text of the paper focuses on closer identification of this group of students and subsequently, based on interpretation of statistical data, points to insufficient support of these pupils in the current education system.
