Abstract
This paper first attempts to grasp Nietzsche's concept of a man, after which it tries to show how the idea of the Overman determines the way and movement of human existence. In this context the question may ultimately arise as to whether the path to the Overman an authentic way of is being, or Nietzsche's imperative to decide on the human being.
However, the question of the eternal return of the same, which inevitably affects the movement of human existence and at the same time enables the idea of the Overman, must also be considered. Finally, this paper focuses on the question of how authenticity can be thought in relation to necessity.
