Venetian Renaissance painter Giorgio da Castelfranco vol. Giorgione was admired for his unrivaled liveliness in capturing human skin.
He created a way of painting that was exemplary for generations of Venetians. He gave numerous suggestions to his younger collaborator Titian.
To this day, his rare, often mysterious paintings give glory to the picture galleries that he owns. He made a significant impression on his younger collaborator Titian, who in many ways became his successor.
