Pedagogical creativity in the context of musical creativity in Czech kindergartens from teachers' viewpoint

Abstract

The contribution first defines concepts such as pedagogical creativity, teacher's musical creativity and specifics of children's musical creative manifestations. All these categories are subsequently monitored empirically in the context of formal pre-school education through a questionnaire survey from the viewpoint of 207 kindergarten teachers.

Th e research results indicate that children's musical creative manifestations positively linearly correlate with pedagogical creativity and also with the teachers' musical creativity.
