Contexts of verbal and art pedagogy

Abstract

The article deals with literary and art education in the context of pedagogical science, defines some interfaces of both art education and looks for selected mutual connections, usable for educational purposes, first from a general point of view. It uses the tools of related disciplines to define the field - especially general aesthetic theory, theory of literature and art history.

The article does not aim to trace all the contexts and give practical instructions to teachers in a limited space, it only selects some questions and gives specific examples of them, provided with an illustrative appendix. For the historiographical and social-scientific context, the text is provided with additional footnotes - the current system of art-pedagogical study and the possibilities of a specific aesthetic field are presented in more detail, although only on selected examples from our tribal alma mater.
