Abstract
The designation Master of the Třeboň Altar belongs to an unknown painter of unknown nationality, who probably created mainly in Prague during the reign of King Wenceslas IV. and created the preconditions for the emergence of the so-called beautiful style, also called the international style, as its manifestations occurred from Prague through the German lands and the Netherlands to Paris in a large part of Europe, including Italy.
