Abstract
In the fourth chapter 'On the Possibility of thematizing Music in The Origin of the Work of Art', Matouš Kvapil attempts to read The Origin of the Work of Art with a focus on music, searching for music's place in Heidegger's thoughts concerning art. Kvapil asks whether a thematization of music in this perspective is even possible, and what would then be the starting point offered for this thematization in The Origin of the Work of Art.
