Abstract
The conference aims to support the continuity of the interpretation of the work and life of Adriena Šimotová and Jiří John. It focuses on the artistic and historical context of their work, themes and structures of expressive forms.
It expands and updates the existing interpretive perspectives on the possibilities of interpretation connected with the philosophical thinking of the time in which both authors lived and worked. And at the same time, it is focused on the cultural-historical context of the response to their work in the Czech or Czechoslovak cultural context and abroad, etc.
