Abstract
In these items are presented two persons of incipienting branch art history - Jan E. Vocel and Alfred Woltmann.
Focus is concentrated on their relation to Faculty of arts of then Charles-Ferdinand University in Prague. Next to data of life are mentioned their most known articles and papers.
